Rink amide resin is an acid-labile resin widely used for the preparation of amides, amide derivatives, and other organic molecules. This resin is more sensitive to acid than Rink Amide AM and Rink Amide-MBHA resins.
Acid sensitivity grading:
Reactivity ranking: Rink amide resin > Rink Amide-MBHA > Rink Amide-AM Cleavage threshold: minimum tolerable acid concentration (only 50% trifluoroacetic acid (TFA)/dichloromethane (DCM) system is required to efficiently cleave the linker)
Linker chemistry: The modified Rink amide linker contains a bis(ether) bond that is sensitive to acid, enabling controlled cleavage.
